Letter posted in English and Spanish to the Argentinian Ambassador
Her Excellency Mrs. Alicia CASTRO,
The Argentine Ambassador,
65 Brook Street
LONDON W1K 4AH
October, 2014
Your Excellency
I take pleasure in writing as a representative of the Cornish Branch of the Celtic League.
One of our full members Mr. DC who is resident in south east Cornwall has suggested and arranged for you to receive ‘Carn’ magazine, the official publication of the Celtic League.
The Celtic League is a campaigning organisation founded in the early 1960’s and which now has roster consultative status at the United Nations.
Mr. C has worked extensively throughout South America and speaks highly of the sub continent and indeed of Argentina. He has also informed us that you have taken an interest in Wales and we wished to inform you that many in Cornwall feel much as do the people of Wales. The two Nations share much historically and culturally.
If ever you should find time to visit Cornwall, we would assure you of a warm welcome and our very best attentions in showing to you the best features of our wonderful Celtic land.
We so hope that you find our magazine of some interest and enjoy future copies sent to you.
I have the honour to be, with the highest consideration,
Your Excellency's obedient servant,
MC
